Guanabana, also known as Soursop, is native to the tropical regions of the Americas and the Caribbean. It is now widely cultivated in parts of Southeast Asia and Africa. The tree thrives in warm, humid environments and is often found in home gardens, orchards, and tropical forests.

Traditional & Cultural Use:
Soursop leaves have been traditionally used across Latin America, the Caribbean, and Southeast Asia as part of folk and ethnobotanical practices. Commonly steeped into herbal teas or used in steam baths. In the UK and EU, dried Guanabana leaves have been present through cultural food shops and traditional importers since before 1997, mainly for aromatic and wellness uses without medicinal claims.

Preparation & Application:
Used as a botanical infusion: typically steeped in hot water for herbal tea or decocted for aromatic bath preparations. Often combined with other dried botanicals in traditional blends.

Organoleptic Notes:
Large, dark green dried leaves with a slightly sweet, grassy aroma. Produces a mild herbal infusion with earthy and green flavour notes.
